Pressure Testing & Pipeline Inspection Services

Specialist Testing Solutions for Gas, Water & Waste Infrastructure

Abrostow 2000 Pty Ltd provides professional pressure testing and pipeline inspection services across NSW, QLD, and ACT. We support civil contractors, utility providers and infrastructure companies with compliant, accurate and reliable testing solutions.

Our services are delivered using purpose-built equipment, modern technology and strict safety systems to ensure every project meets Australian standards and regulatory requirements.

Our Services

  • We provide certified hydrostatic pressure testing for pipelines and infrastructure systems to verify structural integrity and leak detection under controlled water pressure conditions.

Hydrostatic testing is commonly required for:

    • Water mains

    • Sewer rising mains

    • Gas infrastructure

    • Civil construction projects

    • New pipeline installations

All hydrostatic testing is conducted in accordance with Australian standards and documented for compliance reporting.

  • Our pneumatic pressure testing services use controlled air pressure to assess pipeline integrity where hydrostatic testing may not be suitable.

This method is often used for:

    • Gas pipelines

    • Small diameter pipework

    • Commissioning verification

    • System integrity testing

Testing is performed with strict safety protocols and calibrated equipment.

  • We provide vacuum testing services to confirm pipeline joints and manhole integrity, ensuring no leakage within sewer and drainage systems.

    Vacuum testing is ideal for:

    • Sewer pipelines

    • Manholes

    • Stormwater systems

    • New installations prior to commissioning

  • Deflection testing (ovality testing) ensures newly installed pipelines meet allowable deformation limits before handover.

    We conduct:

    • Mandrel testing

    • Post-installation verification

    • Compliance testing for sewer & drainage lines

This ensures structural performance and long-term reliability.

  • Low air pressure testing and smoke testing are used to detect leaks, illegal connections and system faults in sewer and drainage networks.

These services are commonly required for:

    • Council compliance

    • Infrastructure upgrades

    • Fault identification

    • Commissioning approval

  • Our CCTV inspection services provide detailed visual assessment of underground pipelines and drainage systems.

    We deliver:

    • High-resolution footage

    • Condition reporting

    • Fault identification

    • Blockage detection

    • Pre-handover inspections

CCTV inspections are ideal for new installations, asset verification and ongoing maintenance programs.

  • We provide professional high-pressure jetting services to clear blockages and prepare pipelines for inspection or testing.

    Jetting supports:

    • Drain cleaning

    • Pre-inspection preparation

    • Maintenance programs

    • Emergency blockage removal

  • We provide leak detection services to assist in the identification of the location of a leak in below ground pipe work. We utilize a ground microphone system which is used to detect leaks in buried pipes, to assist pin point the location on site.

The systems records the minimum level of continuous noise at three second intervals enabling the operator to compare leak noise levels to determine the location of the leak. It builds a frequency analysis graph that can be analyzed to determine location of the leak.
